케임브릿지 사전은 'antics'를 "funny, silly, or strange behaviour(재미있거나, 바보스럽거나, 이상항 행동)"라고 정의했다.

"But the rock star, whose stage antics used to include smashing guitars, is older and wiser now(하지만 기타를 부수는 등의 무대 위 돌발 행동을 하는 그 록스타는 이제 나이가 들었고 더 지혜로워졌다)."

"The crowds were once again entertained by the number-one tennis player's antics on and off the court(관중들은 다시 한 번 일 위의 테니스 선수가 코트 안팎에서 보이는 익살스러운 행동에 즐거워했다)."

콜린스 사전은 'antics'를' 이렇게 설명했다. "Antics are funny, silly, or unusual ways of behaving(antics는 재미있거나, 바보스럽거나, 특이한 행동 방식이다)."

맥밀란 사전은 'antics'를 "behaviour that is funny or silly in an enjoyable way(즐겁게 재미있거나 바보스러운 행동)"라고 풀이했다.
