케임브릿지 사전은 'proprietor'를
"a person who owns a particular type of business, especially a hotel, a shop, or a company that makes newspapers(특정한 사업, 특히 호텔, 가게, 또는 신문을 만드는 회사를 소유한 사람)"라고 정의했다.
