[영어 공부] bullish(희망에 찬, 낙관적인)

 

케임브릿지 사전은 'bullish'를 "giving your opinions in a powerful and confident way(자신의 의견을 강력하고 자신 있게 주장하는)"라고 정의했다.

"She's being very bullish about the firm's future(그녀는 그 회사의 미래에 대해 아주 낙관적이다)."

콜린스 사전은 'bullish'를 이렇게 설명했다. "If someone is bullish about something, they are cheerful and optimistic about it(어떤 사람이 무엇에 관해 bullish하다면, 그것에 관해 생기가 넘치고 낙관적인 것이다)."

"Even now, he is bullish about the company's future(심지어 지금도 그는 그 회사의 미래에 낙관적이다)."

롱맨 사전은 'bullish'를 "feeling confident about the future(미래에 대해 자신감이 있는)"라고 풀이했다.

"He’s very bullish about the company’s prospects(그는 그 회사의 전망에 관해 아주 낙관적이다)."
