케임브릿지 사전은 'go rogue'를 "to start behaving in a way that is not normal or expected, especially by leaving your group and doing something dangerous(정상적이거나 기대된 방식이 아닌 방식으로 행동하기 시작하다, 특히 당신의 그룹을 떠나고 위험한 일을 함으로써 그렇게 하다)"라고 정의했다.
