케임브릿지 사전은 'land'를 "to get or achieve something good, especially in a way that seems easy or unexpected(좋은 것을, 특히 쉽거나 예상치 못한 방법으로 얻거나 성취하다)"라고 정의했다.

"He landed a senior editorial job(그는 편집 차장 자리를 쉽게 얻었다)."
