케임브릿지 사전은 'flip side'를 "the opposite, less good, or less popular side of something(어떤 것의 반대, 또는 덜 좋은, 또는 덜 유명한 면)"이라고 정의했다.

"We're now starting to see the flip side of the government's economic policy(이제 우리는 정부의 경제 정책이 가진 이면을 보기 시작하고 있다)."
