케임브릿지 사전은 'rabbit hole'을 "a situation in which you become so interested in a subject or an activity that you cannot stop trying to find out about it or doing it(어떤 주제 또는 활동에 아주 흥미를 느껴서 그것에 대해 알아보거나 그것을 하기를 멈출 수 없는 상황)"이라고 정의했다.
