케임브릿지 사전은 'two-time'을 "to deceive someone you are having a relationship with by having a secret sexual relationship with someone else at the same time(동시에 다른 사람과 비밀스러운 성적인 관계를 맺어서 당신이 관계를 맺고 있는 상대를 속이다)"이라고 정의했다.

"I ended the relationship when I found out he was two-timing me(나는 그가 나를 두고 바람을 피우고 있다는 사실을 알게 되었을 때 그와의 관계를 끝냈다)."

콜린스 사전은 'two-time'을 "to deceive (someone, esp a lover) by carrying on a relationship with another(다른 이와의 관계를 이어감으로써 누군가, 대개 애인을 속이다)"라고 설명했다.

맥밀란 사전은 'two-time'을 "to be dishonest with your sexual partner by secretly having a relationship with another person at the same time(동시에 다른 사람과 비밀스럽게 관계를 맺음으로써 당신의 성적 파트너에게 충실하지 않다)"이라고 풀이했다.
