케임브릿지 사전은 'dicey'를 "slightly dangerous or uncertain(약간 위험하거나 불확실한)"이라고 정의했다.

"The company's finances look a little dicey(그 기업의 재정 상황은 좀 위험해 보인다)."

콜린스 사전은 'dicey'를 이렇게 설명했다. "Something that is dicey is slightly dangerous or uncertain(dicey한 것은 약간 위험하거나 불확실한 것이다)." 인포멀(informal)한 표현이다.

"There was a dicey moment as one of our party made a risky climb up the cliff wall(우리 파티원 중 한 명이 위험하게 절벽을 등반했을 때 위험한 순간이 있었다)."

맥밀란 사전은 'dicey'를 "involving danger or risk(위험 또는 위험 요소를 포함한)"라고 풀이했다.
