케임브릿지 사전은 'memorabilia'를 "objects that are collected because they are connected with a person or event that is thought to be very interesting(아주 흥미롭다고 여겨지는 사람 또는 사건과 관련이 있기 때문에 수집되는 물건들)"이라고 정의했다.
"an auction of pop memorabilia(대중 음악 수집품의 경매)"
"Beatles memorabilia(비틀즈 기념품)"
콜린스 사전은 'memorabilia'를 이렇게 설명했다. "Memorabilia are things that you collect because they are connected with a person or organization in which you are interested(memorabilia는 당신이 관심 있는 사람 또는 조직과 관련되어 있어 수집하는 물건들이다)."
맥밀란 사전은 'memorabilia'를 "objects that you collect because they belonged to someone famous or are connected with something that interests you(유명한 사람에게 속했거나 당신이 흥미 있어 하는 것과 관련 있기 때문에 수집하는 물건)"라고 풀이했다.
