케임브릿지 사전은 'dislodge'를 "to remove something or someone, especially by force, from a fixed position(어떤 사물 또는 사람을, 특히 힘으로, 고정된 자리에서 몰아내다)"이라고 정의했다.

"The earthquake dislodged stones from the walls and the roof(지진 때문에 벽과 지붕에서 돌이 제자리를 벗어났다)."
