케임브릿지 사전은 'bucolid'을 "relating to the countryside(시골과 관련된)"라고 정의했다.

"The painting shows a typically bucolic scene with peasants(그 그림은 소작농들이 있는, 전형적인 전원 장면을 보여 준다)."

콜린스 사전은 'bucolic'을 이렇게 설명했다. "Bucolic means relating to the countryside(bucolic은 시골과 관련된 것이다)."
