케임브릿지 사전은 'underfoot'을 "under your feet as you walk; on the ground(걸어가는 동안 당신 발 밑에 있는; 땅에 있는)"라고 정의했다.

"The grass was cool and pleasant underfoot(발 밑의 풀은 시원하고 기분이 좋았다)."
