케임브릿지 사전은 'adjuciate'를 "to act as judge in a competition or argument, or to make a formal decision about something(경쟁이나 논쟁에서 판사 역할을 하거나 어떤 것에 대해 공식적 결정을 내리다)"이라고 정의했다.
