케임브릿지 사전은 'up-to-the-minute'을 "containing all the most recent information(가장 최근의 정보를 포함한)"이라고 정의했다.

"up-to-the-minute news(최신 뉴스)"

콜린스 사전은 'up-to-the-mintue'을 이렇게 설명했다. "Up-to-the-minute information is the latest information that you can get about something(up-to-the-minute한 정보는 어떤 것에 대해 얻을 수 있는 가장 최신의 정보이다)."

"...24 hours a day up-to-the-minute instant news(...하루 24시간 즉시 전달하는 최신 뉴스)."
