케임브릿지 사전은 'snazzy'를 "modern and stylish in a way that attracts attention(관심을 끄는 방식으로 현대적이고 세련된)"이라고 정의했다.

"Paula's wearing a very snazzy pair of shoes(폴라가 신은 신발 아주 멋진데)!"

"He designs snazzy new graphics for software packages(그는 소프트웨어 패키지를 위한 세련된 새 그래픽을 디자인한다)."

콜린스 사전은 'snazzy'를 이렇게 설명했다. "Something that is snazzy is stylish and attractive, often in a rather bright or noticeable way(snazzy한 것은 대개 (색이) 밝거나 눈에 띄는 식으로 스타일리시하고 매력적인 것이다). 인포멀(informal)한 표현이다.

"...snazzy swimsuits(멋진 수영복)."

"...a snazzy new Porsche(세련된 새 포르쉐)."

"...the snazziest part of town(그 동네에서 제일 세련된 곳)."
