케임브릿지 사전은 'manhandle'을 "to touch or hold someone roughly and with force, often when taking them somewhere(대개 어떤 이를 어딘가로 데려갈 때 그들을 거칠게, 힘을 주어서 만지거나 붙잡다)"라고 정의했다.
