케임브릿지 사전은 'burble'을 "to talk about something continuously and in a way that is not very clear(계속해서, 명확하지 않게 어떤 것에 대해 이야기하다)"라고 정의했다.

"She was burbling (on) about what she'd do if she won the lottery(그녀는 복권에 당첨되면 무엇을 할지에 대해 지껄였다)."

콜린스 사전은 'burble'을 이렇게 설명했다. "If you say that someone is burbling, you mean that they are talking in a confused way(상대가 burbling 한다고 말하면, 그들이 혼란스럽게 말한다는 뜻이다)."
